Communication Facilitation

I use an approach I call Deep Discussions to facilitate productive conversations with and among individuals and groups. I engage in some of these conversations with people who want to improve their skills in communication, planning or relationship management. Other conversations involve management teams and boards that want to recreate or refine their mission statements, actions plans or business strategies. Still others involve kinfolk and community groups who want to better understand each other's moral, political and legal positions.

I drew on many resources to create my Deep Discussions approach. The three principal resources were - and continue to be - my training in the management of structured conversations, my studies of discursive theory and narrative mediation, and my participation in discussions of brain science.
